Giving back
RightShip is committed to setting global benchmarks in the maritime sector.
Alongside our mission to make our seas safer and minimise the environmental impact of international shipping, we believe we make a difference by supporting not-for-profit maritime organisations, including those that work towards improving the wellbeing of seafarers.
We provide each office with their own charity budget to support local initiatives and involve our staff in community outreach programs. RightShip has several charity partnerships with organisations including the Mission to Seafarers and Human Rights at Sea.
Committed to carbon reduction
Complementing our vision of a zero-emissions maritime industry, RightShip actively works to minimise emissions across all offices.
While we aim for zero as an organisation, we offset our annual emission through the purchase of carbon credits. This includes our energy bill, international flights and employee travel to and from work.
RightShip provides carbon offset sponsorship of selected maritime industry events, working with organisers to take responsibility for emissions associated with the event and demonstrate climate change leadership.
